Minne Inno

I was part of the team that launched Minne Inno, a site focused on covering technology and startups in the Twin Cities. I spent a week reporting from Minneapolis in December 2016, which laid the groundwork for launching the site in 2017. I also contributed several additional stories at launch, including several scoops and exclusives based off relationships I cultivated in the market.

The Gap Between

I worked on a two-month pop-up project on visualizing inequality with a team of students from City, University of London. Our aim was to uncover where discussions on the issue arise online, create content that would resonate with that audience and grow an audience around that conversation.

As part of my work covering tech in flyover country for the American Inno sites, I created a series of comprehensive guides introducing entrepreneurial students and new founders to various cities' tech ecosystems.

Diversity in Tech

Understanding and exploring diversity has been a theme throughout my reporting on the tech and startup world. That includes reporting on technology that aims to improve diversity, talking to leaders in the field about how to tackle the problems, and shining light on founders from a range of backgrounds. Here's a collection of my work on the topic.

Cancer Inno

During the summer of 2017, I worked with a colleague at Chicago Inno to write a series of stories on innovations in cancer treatments in the Chicago area.
